A few weeks ago, I was asked why we sanitise locality details on specimens. I explained why. And just last week, I was asked again, so I explained. And just earlier today, I was asked what sanitising locality details meant.

I sensed a pattern.

Throughout my time at the WA Museum, one thing that I have always loved is the raw results of Apache Solr when unleashed on a new dataset.

So this is my blog, where I will discuss Web Accessibility, Drupal, Museums, Bioinformatics, Digital Humanities, eGovernment and all things open source. At this point am still going through the process of setting up this Drupal site via Drush on a EC2 hosting space, which will form the first "real" post.
